Three US class action settlements stop taking claims between 29 October and 3 November 2026: pork bought from 2014 to 2018, Bestway above-ground pools and Levoit air purifiers. Two of them pay without a receipt. All three are for people in the United States only; readers in the UK won’t qualify.

1. Pork Price-Fixing Settlement: Deadline 29 October
Five pork producers (Clemens, Hormel, Seaboard, Triumph and Tyson) agreed to settlements totalling $117.065 million over claims that they inflated pork prices. You can claim if you bought raw bacon or raw pork cuts such as bellies, loins, shoulder, ribs or chops for personal use between 28 June 2014 and 30 June 2018, in one of 24 “repealer” jurisdictions, including California, New York, Minnesota and West Virginia. Organic, no-antibiotics and most marinated or breaded products are excluded.
Payments are pro rata, so the amount depends on how much you bought and how many people claim. File at OverchargedForPork.com by 29 October 2026.
2. Bestway Above-Ground Pools Settlement: Deadline 30 October
Bestway agreed to a $15 million settlement over above-ground pools with compression straps on the outside of the support legs. You qualify if you bought, for personal use, a Bestway-branded pool at least 48 inches tall (including Power Steel, Steel Pro and Coleman Power Steel models) sold from 2008 to 2024.
Without proof of purchase you get $40. With proof, you get 10% of the price you paid. File at PoolSettlementBW.com by 30 October 2026.
3. Levoit Air Purifier Settlement: Deadline 3 November
VeSync, the company behind Levoit, settled claims over “True HEPA”, “HEPA” and “H13” labelling on Core and EverestAir air purifiers and replacement filters. If you bought one in the US between 29 August 2019 and 4 August 2023, you can claim $10, paid digitally. Total awards are capped at $15 million and reduced proportionally if claims exceed it. Do I need a lawyer to claim a class action settlement?
No. You file a claim form with the settlement administrator, usually online. The lawyers’ fees come out of the settlement fund.
Can I claim if I live in the UK?
Almost never. These settlements are for people who bought the products in the United States, and the pork settlement is limited to 24 US jurisdictions.
When do settlements pay out?
After the court gives final approval and any appeals end. That can take several months after the claim deadline.
