3Commas Grid Bot
There are three incredibly powerful Bots on 3Commas:
- The Gordon Bot;
- The Advanced Bot (which are both DCA are dollar-cost averaging focus bot); and
- The Grid Bot
This article is focused exclusively on The Grid Bot. So let’s take a look at what it does!
The Step-by-Step | 3Commas Grid Bot
The Grid Bot can be found on the left-hand navigation toolbar just below DCA Bot:
When you go to the Grid BOT first choose an account to use a market to trade on and a pair to trade with.
The Grid Bot trading works off of horizontal buy and sell lines. Sells can only be filled if I have an amount of key to trade with first.
Buy would be all of Tether (USDT) buy prices as the price fluctuates between the high and the low back and forth, the bots continuously buys and sells as it moves up and buys and sells as it moves down.
The Grid Bot Strategy | 3Commas Grid Bot
The Grid Trading Bot has two strategies: AI and manual.
The difference between the two is that AI automatically designates an upper and lower limit price, 3% in both directions from the weekly high and weekly low.
It also automatically places 20 grids on the chart between this designated high and low.
The manual strategy is different as you can choose your own upper and lower limit prices, as well as the number of grids to trade. The minimum however is 5.
Once you’ve selected a grid quantity now it’s time to choose how much to trade per grid.
USD coin on the US Tether market is great for novice traders because these are two stable coins and the price will never really go too far outside of the average price.
