Export Your Transaction History from CoinTracker

Downloading and backing up your crypto transaction history ensures that you:

• Retain access to your data if you lose access to your CoinTracker account.
• Keep a record in case an exchange locks you out or ceases operations.

How to Download Your Transaction History

1. Navigate to the Transactions page in your CoinTracker account.
2. Set filters for transactions to download (optional):
   • Leave filters unset to download all transactions.
   • Per wallet: Filter by individual wallets to keep them separate for future imports.
   • Large number of transactions: If you have more than 10,000 transactions, download them in chunks to prevent failure.
     • Set results per page to 100.
     • Check the date range on pages 1 and 10.
     • Use the date filter to download transactions in that range.
3. Click “CSV” to download your filtered or complete transaction history.

Import Your CoinTracker-Generated CSV

Once you have downloaded your transaction history CSV, follow these steps to re-import it into CoinTracker:

1. Navigate to the Wallets page in CoinTracker.
2. Click “Add Wallet”.
3. Select “Enter CSV”.
4. Choose the CSV file you want to import.
5. Click “Import” to add the transactions to your CoinTracker account.

Important Considerations When Importing

• Transfer-type transactions are not supported: Transactions labeled as “Transfer” cannot be imported. If your CSV includes them, remove them to avoid validation errors.
• Single import wallet only: Imported CSVs are treated as coming from one wallet. Transactions from multiple wallets or exchanges will not be separated by their original sources.
